Abstract
Saihanba plays an important role in preventing wind and sand, protecting the environment, and maintaining ecological balance and stability. The miracle of turning "desert" into "forest" has had a profound impact on the surrounding areas. In order to explore the environmental impact of the restoration of Saihanba Dam, we used AHP and entropy method to improve the weighting process of EI index, and combined with TOPSIS method to establish a MEI evaluation model that fits the local conditions of Saihanba Dam. We obtained the conclusion that the local ecological environment quality in general showed a positive trend after the restoration of Saihanba.
