Abstract

In alternating current speed regulation system, a speed sensor equipped on the motor shaft is often used to control the rotational speed. However, with mounting speed sensors inserted, the robustness and dependency of the alternating current speed regulation system will be reduced. According to previous researches, model reference adaptive system, sliding mode observer and Kalman Filtering with rather low dynamic characteristic were reported. The dynamic characteristics have been analyzed in theory. Based on the mathematical model of asynchronous motor, speed estimation algorithms of model reference adaptive, sliding mode observer and dynamic speed estimator speed sensorless models were established in MATLAB/SIMULNK software, the simulation results show that the dynamic speed estimation algorithm has better dynamic performance and excellent stability and reliability than other methods.
