Abstract

Through laboratory test, field test and discrete element simulation calculation, the dynamic characteristics of asphalt graded crushed stone ballast bed are studied, and the influence of asphalt graded crushed stone layer thickness on the dynamic performance of different structural layers of ballast bed is analyzed. The results show that compared with the traditional subgrade structure, the dynamic stress, dynamic deformation and vibration acceleration of asphalt graded crushed stone subgrade are smaller, and asphalt graded crushed stone is the main bearing structure layer. With the increase of the thickness of asphalt graded crushed stone layer, the stress state of subgrade is improved. It is recommended that the thickness of asphalt graded crushed stone layer is 16cm.
