Abstract
In the paper, a new approach to direct torque control (DTC) of induction motor drive based on dual-fuzzy space vector modulation (SVM) technology is proposed. In comparison with the conventional direct torque control using space vector modulation technology (SVM-DTC) method, two fuzzy controllers are used to generate the two components of reference voltage vector in stead of two PI controllers. With the proposed strategy, the error between the estimated and the reference for stator flux linkage and torque will be compensated by synthesized voltage space vector accurately. The simulation results verified that the proposed SVM-DTC method can improve the system robustness, evidently reduce the torque and flux ripple, and effectively improve the steady performance.
