Abstract
Device-to-Device (D2D) communication is a technology used to directly exchange information between neighboring devices in a communication network. In recent years, with the diversification of user needs and the rapid growth of data traffic, the development of mobile communications is facing huge challenges. And D2D communication has become a key technology to solve the current high-speed traffic growth and massive device access by the characteristics of effectively improving spectrum utilization, reducing network load, and reducing communication delay. Resource allocation, as one of the key issues in D2D communication, is also being widely studied and discussed. This article first introduces the D2D communication technology, then focuses on the research status of resource allocation algorithms in D2D communication, and finally summarizes the important and difficult issues in the research and proposes future research directions.
