Abstract

In recent years, the increased occurrence of lightning accident in gas station has brought huge economic losses for the gas industry. However, there is no uniform standard about lightning protection at gas station at present, lightning protection facilities of different gas stations have a big difference, resulting in a high gas station lightning accident frequency. In order to reduce the probability of the occurrence of lightning accident in gas station, this paper design a comprehensive detection method for the existing lightning protection facilities of gas station. And make some improvement of lightning protection facilities according to the detection results. The test plan includes the overall layout, ground equipment distribution, grounding grids distribution, grounding points test, grounding resistance measurement and soil resistivity measurement. Provide the basic reference for the lightning accident analysis and lightning protection measures to ensure the safe operation of the gas station. According to the scheme, the lightning protection facilities of gas station can be comprehensively detected and make the corresponding improvement scheme, so that the overall lightning protection level can be improved.
