Abstract

With exquisite craftsmanship, rich tool types, and decorative features, ancient ceramics vividly show the essence of traditional Chinese culture. They have important historical, artistic, and scientific research values. In this paper, based on template fractal, the detection of architectural ceramic decoration is studied. The edge detection and image enhancement methods of architectural ceramic decoration and fractal art application in ceramic decoration pattern design are introduced. The composition of two-dimensional continuous pattern fractal art in ceramic decoration pattern design is introduced. In characteristic analysis, it is found that the research point of fractal art still has some limitations in the application of ceramic decorative pattern design. The application of two-way and four-way continuous splicing of architectural ceramic products requires that the pattern must meet the seamless splicing process of the product application. The raw materials, different molding and decoration processes, and different firing temperatures should be selected according to local conditions to create rich shapes and decorative images feature.
