Abstract

Industry research reports contain a large amount of information about the operating status and profit and loss of enterprises, which affects the objective evaluation of banks and other financial institutions. Therefore, to intuitively judge whether the industry research report contributes to the risk assessment of listed companies, this paper introduces the sentiment tendency index of industry research reports based on the traditional pure financial evaluation system and analyzes the role of industry research reports in credit risk assessment. The main contents of this paper include the following aspects: First, this paper forms a sentiment analysis data set through the judgments and opinion sentences of researchers extracted from the text of industry research reports. And then 38 industries are selected as the research objects, and the emotional analysis method based on BERT and BiLSTM is used to score the industry research papers, to see the development trend of each industry. Secondly, this paper selects 200 listed companies in the technology sector from the above 38 industries as samples and constructs a credit risk assessment system. Finally, through the random forest model, this paper conducts empirical research on the credit risk assessment of listed companies in the science and technology sector respectively on the traditional pure financial indicator model and the mixed indicator model with the introduction of industry research and reporting emotional indicators. The results show that the overall accuracy of the emotional value test results of the industry research report after the introduction of the mixed financial indicator system model is 90%, which is 8% higher than the pure financial indicator system model. It can be concluded that the industry research report information is really helpful to the risk assessment of listed companies in the science and technology sector.
