Abstract

Based on the computer numerical simulation software ABAQUS, this paper uses the extended finite element correlation module to establish a test block model with four prefabricated through cracks, and carries out the numerical simulation of uniaxial compression and biaxial compression respectively. Further understand and analyze the crack initiation, propagation and final failure form of the sample with crack model, and deeply study the mechanism of crack initiation, propagation and penetration. The research shows that: In the process of crack propagation under uniaxial compression, the crack propagation rate is relatively fast in the early propagation steps, then the crack propagation gradually slows down; With the increase of crack inclination, the crack propagation degree decreases and the area with large stress is mainly concentrated at the crack tip.
