Abstract

as the main energy resource, mine resources has a great influence to the economy and social development in China. Therefore, the effective, convenience, and precise deformation monitoring method of the surface movement caused by mining activity have always been focused, and how to apply the new technology such as GPS and CORS to deformation monitoring become what people concerned. The deformation monitoring project in Tashan Mine of Datong Coal Mine Group has been taken as an example in this study, including the detail analysis of the application of CORS in the surface deformation monitoring, data processing by GAMIT, the coordinate transformation, comparative analysis of the accuracy of the transformed coordinate and the regular leveling, which proved that the CORS can meet the accuracy requirement, therefore can be applied to the surface deformation monitoring in mining areas -- which has provided a new monitoring method for the mining area surface monitor.
