Abstract

AbstractA flight control system architecture which combines module integration technique with fly by wire flight control system for civil aircraft is described in this paper. Using integrated control module distributed in cockpit, the flight control system realizes lightweight design and improves the economy of civil aircraft. The integration module incorporates feel force device, RVDT, damper and functional interface. Control characteristics are analyzed by calculation of system structure connecting parts parameters. Performance and qualification tests of system are performed to verify the control characteristics performance requirements and airworthiness regulation conformity respectively. Results include comparison control characteristics data with theoretical calculation and performance tests that illustrate the feasibility and utility of module integration fly by wire flight control system.KeywordsFlight control systemModuleControl characteristics
