Abstract
In the field of wireless power transfer technology, inspired by the traditional LCC topology based on DD coil, this paper proposes a new type of coil called DDP coil. DD coil and P coil in DDP coil are used as coupling coil and resonant coil respectively in traditional LCC topology, and DD coil and P coil transmit energy to receiver coil together. When transmitter and receiver coil are misaligned, the magnetic flux of DD coil and P coil passing through receiver coil decreases. However, due to the excellent misalignment tolerance of LCC topology based on DDP coil, when parameters of whole system are matched, the load can achieve constant current output. Therefore, compared with the traditional LCC topology based on DD coil, the structure proposed in this paper has higher misalignment tolerance and improves the material utilization of resonant inductor. Finally, simulation results show that load current of LCC topology based on DDP coil changes 12% when the receiver coil is deviating by 150 mm. This result is much better than the load current change rate 62 % of the traditional LCC topology based on DD coil when the receiver coil is deviating by 150 mm.
