Abstract

An experiment platform is established to measure the conductivity of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). We research for the properties of conductivity of CFRP with the changing of temperature (conductivity temperature dependence) in different directions of measurement and analyze the properties in the light of conduction mechanism. The experiment results show that the conductivity of CFRP decreases with the increasing of temperature and the glass transition which is observed at around 190 Ό has different influence on conductivity temperature dependence in three measurement direction. In addition, the properties of conductivity temperature dependence measured in the thickness and vertical fiber directions are different from that in the fiber direction.
