Abstract
Water and land painting is a treasure in the treasure house of Chinese traditional art, and it has been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list. Therefore, the clothing in water and land painting has become an important carrier to study Chinese excellent traditional culture. Water and land painting reached its peak in the Ming Dynasty. Clothing not only inherited the tradition of clothing in the Tang, song and Yuan Dynasties, but also showed the unique aesthetic characteristics of the Ming Dynasty. However, the existing Ming Dynasty water and land paintings are facing the danger of fading and peeling due to natural and man-made reasons. The research on the water and land paintings in the academic circles is not comprehensive and systematic enough. To build an intelligent database for the Ming Dynasty water and land paintings and costume images, and based on this research. It is the only way to make the excellent traditional culture realize modern application, and it is also an inevitable measure to protect and inherit the national intangible cultural heritage.
