Abstract

The high frequency common mode voltage generated by the traditional two-level inverter and multilevel inverter modulation scheme is higher. In order to solve the problem of common-mode voltage in three-level inverter, a method to suppress the common-mode voltage in three-level inverter is proposed in this paper. Research comparing sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) and zero common mode voltage modulation methods. Through the application of the new modulation method to the three-level inverter, the effectiveness of the method is proved by simulation.
