Abstract

The paper is to apply the blended learning mode to the college English teaching and present the instruction design of College English through understanding the relative theory of blended learning and interpreting the national version of College English Curriculum Requirements. By conducting the experiment in the sophomore students, the attitude of students towards the blended learning can be shown in the application of college English teaching. Blended learning can increase the students' interest in learning English and improve their English proficiency. The college English teaching based on blended learning has proposed the new requirements and presented the new challenges for the teachers and the teachers' role has changed. The point of view and conclusions of the paper are instructive for the college English teaching reform.
