Research on casing damage analysis and control technology of casing damaged wells in Pubei oilfield

Abstract

Later of the Water flooding development, due to long-term water injection and influences caused by frequent measures to improve production, the situation of oilfield casing damaged wells is increasingly serious on Pubei oilfield. The cumulative number of casing damage wells has reached 183, accounting for 24.14% to the total number of production wells of the blocks, and casing damage wells increase year by year and there is an upward trend in casing damage rate, seriously restricting production and development of oil field. Through the analysis of the types of casing damage, the three-dimensional distribution characteristics, and the influence and mechanism of Fault Block, the paper put forward the casing damage prevention and control measures to avoid or reduce the influence of casing damage on production.
