Abstract

There are high requirements on the control accuracy, dynamic performance and robustness of carrier-based aircraft landing. In the previous literature, the idea of landing control is to use the system output, and error's feedback to control, which takes a large lag in the control, and is difficult to fundamentally improve the landing control accuracy and dynamic performance and so on. In this paper, the preview control of carrier landing is studied, and the preview information of the gliding path and the deck motion is used to guide the aircraft carrier to make the advance operation. Firstly, the landing preview controller is designed, then the robust Hinf filter is designed to predict the deck motion, and the preview information of the deck motion is obtained. Finally, the preview control is carried out under states discrete sampling. Simulation results show that the preview information and control can significantly enhance the aircraft's ability in tracking the glide path and deck motion.
