Abstract

The article is based on the theory of computational fluid dynamics. We qualitatively analyse the difference between the total pressure on the windward side and the leeward side by numerical method, and compare and analyse the wind environment around the ground floor non-overhead courtyard building with the same width and height. The distribution of the velocity field, pressure field and trace map around the courtyard building with the ground floor fully overhead and the courtyard building with the ground floor not completely overhead are obtained. By introducing the CFD numerical simulation method, introducing finite element, Navier-Stokes equation, k-ε equation turbulence model, etc., combined with traditional ventilation design, the advantages of artificial ventilation and natural ventilation are integrated to obtain the optimal ventilation design scheme.
