Abstract

As one of the important components in the braking process of automobiles, brake pads play a very important role in the overall safety of automobiles. During the braking process, due to the large amount of frictional heat generated during the braking process, the anti-skid material on the surface will be continuously consumed. Therefore, the brake pads will gradually become thinner until they are excessively worn, thus affecting the stability of the automobile braking system, which is very harmful to driving safety. Therefore, in this paper, the finite element temperature field of the brake pad is modeled, and the state of its failure is considered from the computer program system. Through the system program, the fault characteristics during the braking process of the brake pads are depicted, that is, use the indicators of the programming language to describe the characteristic types of brake pad failures in detail to achieve the relevant purpose of early warning for brake pad failure.
