Abstract

Urban public safety is a livelihood project involving various industries and departments concerning natural disasters, accidents, public health, and social security. The amount of safety data is also growing rapidly. However, at present, there are many barriers affecting the dispersion of data, separation of blocks, interconnection and sharing of data. These data are highly correlated in security aspect but are in a segmented state and have low value. Block data provides the basic conditions for aggregating these data and exerting the value of the data. Through big data technology, data of natural disasters, accidents, public health, and social security hazards will be triggered in certain areas (such as a community, a street, a region or a city) or accident data that has occurred etc. can be integrated on the block data intelligent platform through the cloud computing, Internet of Things, mobile Internet and other big data technologies, to realize the urban public safety automatic forecasting, automatic early warning, automatic information feedback, automatic supervision, scientific decision-making, etc., improving the quality of urban public safety management and playing an important role in improving people's livelihood.
