Abstract

This paper presents a novel statistical method to research BER of QPSK signal by using Amplitude Probability Distribution (APD). The statistical results of interfering signals, especially APD, have been widely used, and the relationship between the statistical results and performance of digital radio systems has been an open issue. The statistical method has been proved to be an effective method to study the characteristics of electromagnetic interference and it is a useful method to study the interference effect on digital communication systems. In this paper, the relation between amplitude probability distribution (APD) of interference and bit error probability (BEP) of QPSK communication signal is studied.
