Abstract
This paper proposes a normalized modeling method based on Simulation Component Model (SCM) for describing avionics in aircraft maintenance simulation process. The method can solve the problem of low reusability within the existing component models. The proposed avionic component model comprises an ontology, some interfaces and operation rules, which is built by the modeling specification and framework of SCM. The input and output signals of the model I/O interfaces are summed up according to the avionic component's characteristics and functions. A set of operation rules are defined between output signals and the other two signals, which are input signals and a return value from control functions. The model not only can realize the functional simulation, but also generate maintenance behaviors such as operation, test, removal, installation and troubleshooting. At last, the feasibility of this modeling method is verified on the self-researched aircraft maintenance simulator by taking the flight augmentation computer for example.
