Abstract

The problem of automatic charging of quadruped robots has been studied for a long time, but in the docking process, the success rate of robot docking is low. This paper proposes a kind of module based on the infrared tube module, laser ranging sensor group module, wireless communication module, charging station control unit module, and the automatic charging module, which includes two-dimensional code, voltage sensor group module, servo motor module, robot control unit module, serial communication module, and AI vision camera module. The docking method of combining the automatic charging robot, which mainly consists of the laser ranging sensor module, the infrared tube module, and the AI vision camera module, after three times of charging platform angle adjustments to complete the plugin and charge accurate docking, the automatic charging can effectively solve the existing charging process of quadruped robot docking with a low success rate.
