Abstract
Next generation internet should be a network which can satisfy users' personalized needs. Reconfigurable technology has a good performance in meeting the needs of system adaptability to environment and changes of application objects. Therefore, this paper brings forward the concepts of the flexible reconfigurable network and has a formalization description of reference models in flexible and reconfigurable network. At last, it introduces the application prospects and advantages of flexible and reconfigurable network.
