Abstract

Automatic demand response is one of the core technologies in the development of smart power grid, which relies on advanced communication, measurement and internet technology to instruct users to change the original power consumption by using price signal or incentive signal, so as to realize the optimal allocation of power resources in user side. The Open Automated Demand Response Communications Specification, also called OpenADR, released by the OpenADR Alliance, provides the communication data model for automatic demand response project, and provides technical specification for implementing automatic demand response. Based on OpenADR 2.0 specification, this article studies the layered architecture applied to automatic demand response system and presents an automatic demand response hierarchical management system with VTN-VEN information interaction pair as basic unit. The system has the characteristics of standardization, universality and high expansibility, and has wide application foreground in the future large-scale automatic demand response system.
