Abstract
Taking a large international EPC hydropower station for an example, the paper used AHP analytical hierarchy process to establish the high resistance concrete dam design decision structure, applied the principle of value engineering to analyze and evaluate the function and value of design, to achieve the purpose of optimizing engineering design, in order to achieve cost reduction and efficiency of scheme. The results showed that the method of value Engineering was effective. Finally, it was very important significance to put successfully use value engineering in international project, output China Design Standard Specification in international hydropower project.
