Abstract

This paper implements a system for identifying and tracking moving targets in a laboratory environment, and keeps the target in the field of view by controlling the pan tilt and the lens. We mainly discusses the recognition of moving targets and the automatic tracking of moving targets. Using the Haar feature to identify the target, as long as the training sample is sufficient, a good recognition effect can be achieved. On the basis of recognition, the target tracking is performed using the Camshifi algorithm. The Kalman filtering prediction method is integrated into the CamShift algorithm, the target tracking speed is improved, and the problem of fast target tracking in the case of interference is effectively solved. Applying the automatic recognition and tracking method of the target studied in this paper, a fast target automatic recognition and tracking system based on PTZ camera is established, and a series of target automatic identification and tracking experiments are conducted. The experimental results show that the target automatic recognition and tracking algorithm established in this paper is fast and has good tracking effect.
