Abstract

With the development and utilization of wind energy, as well as the large number of power electronic devices access to power system, subsynchronous oscillation has a serious threat to the safe and stable operation of wind power grid-connected system. In view of this phenomenon, this paper has carried on the research of analysis and suppression strategy of subsynchronous oscillation in wind power grid-connected system. Firstly, the model of wind power grid-connected system is established by using double-fed induction generator (DFIG). Then, the subsynchronous oscillation is simulated by PSCAD/EMTDC, and the mechanism of subsynchronous oscillation is analyzed by frequency scanning method and time domain simulation method. The subsynchronous oscillation suppression strategy based on bypass current compensation is verified by simulation.
