Abstract

Nowadays, China's building energy consumption accounts for about 20% of all energy consumption, of which the energy consumption per unit area of public buildings is about 2-4 times that of other buildings. In the energy consumption of public buildings, nearly half of the building energy consumption is reflected in the air conditioning system. Therefore, reducing the energy consumption of HVAC system is of great significance for reducing the energy consumption of public buildings and the total energy consumption in China. This paper focuses on building air-conditioning system, to construct the mathematical model of energy consumption of each equipment and uses the modular system transient simulation software to build the simulation model. From the perspective of the overall energy consumption of the system, the control strategy to achieve energy-saving and efficient operation of the building air-conditioning system under the existing equipment configuration is studied. By comparing and analyzing the energy consumption before and after the optimization of the control mode of indoor air conditioning, it is concluded that the energy consumption of the optimized air conditioning system is about 12% reduction compared with that of the existing system.
