Abstract

Abstract Applying genetic algorithm to the handoff technology, an adaptive joint decision handoff algorithm based on improved genetic algorithm is proposed for the problem of handover trigger probability and handover success rate in the handover process. Based on the genetic algorithm, the scheme optimizes the relevant parameters in the handover decision process under high-speed characteristics, dynamically selects the hysteresis tolerance value that can meet the fast handover requirements for different operating speeds, and introduces SCP (Satisfactory Communication Probability), when the train moves between cells, if the SCP value does not meet the requirements, it will not be able to access the next cell to ensure the communication quality is excellent. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional handover scheme, this scheme can achieve the goal of improving the handover trigger rate and improving the handover success rate, and can achieve a higher communication satisfaction probability.
