Abstract

In this paper, modular multilevel converter is used as the voltage source converter connecting DC microgrid and AC main network. In the multi-level converter control system, the bus voltage active power (U <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">dc</inf> -P) droop control strategy is adopted. In view of the problems in the traditional droop control, such as the fixed droop coefficient can not realize the flexible adjustment of the system, unreasonable active power distribution and DC voltage deviation, this paper adopts the adaptive droop control scheme to automatically adjust the droop coefficient according to the voltage deviation. The above strategies are verified by Matlab / Simulink that the proposed scheme can effectively improve the DC active power and voltage droop control performance of DC microgrid.
