Abstract

A large number of power electronic devices used and transformed for the electrical energy in the grid has improved the characteristics and economic efficiency of the utility grid of the power system, but the nonlinear load components make the harmonic pollution in the grid more and more serious, which reduces the power quality of the power supply network. An active filter model based on ip-iq algorithm and PI control strategy is proposed and simulated to show that the filter can compensate for reactive power factor and harmonics and effectively suppress harmonics.
