Abstract

AbstractIn order to solve the workspace of the cable-driven parallel mechanism considering the inertia force and analyze the factors influence the workspace, the mechanism dynamics model is established to study the influence of the inertia force on the cable tension, and the condition that the mobile platform is located in the workspace under the influence of the inertia force is analyzed. In order to improve the problem of long calculation time of the traditional algorithm, a simplified algorithm of workspace is proposed. On this basis, the simplified algorithm is used to study the influence of the mass of the mobile platform and the inertia force on the volume of the workspace.KeywordsCable-driven parallel mechanismDynamic analysisWorkspace
