Abstract

The research work on the electric field distribution of high-voltage switchgear is of guiding significance for the safe and stable operation of the switchgear. In view of the problem that the uneven electric field generated in the switchgear during its operation can easily lead to the high field strength areas inside or on the insulating medium and endanger the safe and stable operation of power equipment, propose an actual modeling and electric field simulation method of the switchgear based on the Ansys Maxwell. This method first divides the cable room and the bus bar room according to the characteristics of the switchgear structure, and then, without considering the influence of the circuit breaker room, the 10kV system nominal voltage is applied to the model to perform a three-dimensional transient electric field simulation. Finally, obtain the electric field simulation results are analyzed by using the field post processor in Ansys Maxwell, and the electric field distribution characteristics and electric field concentration area of the cable room and bus bar room in the switchgear under the nominal voltage of 10kV system. Through the analysis of the results, it has a certain reference value for the study of the electric field distribution and the improvement of the insulation level in the switchgear.
