Abstract

Based on the principle of thermoelectric analogy, the thermal network topology of the coaxial bus of the Gas Insulated equipment (GIS) and the GIS bus with multiple spring contacts was established, and the thermal network simulation model of the 1100kV GIS bus was further established. The temperature appreciation of each detection position under the test condition was obtained by calculation, and the calculation time was about 10s. The real prototype was built and the temperature rise test was carried out. The simulation and test results show that the maximum relative error of spring contact temperature rise is 2.70%, that of conductor temperature rise is 7.58%, and that of shell temperature rise is 3.80%, which proves the rationality of the method and the accuracy of the results.
