Abstract
Safety is always considered as the essential prerequisite for modem aviation industry, especially for civil aviation industry. Thus the normal condition of the aero-engine affects directly the safety of the aviation.Wear debris in the lubricating oil is the important information carrier of wear condition of mechanical equipment accessory inside aero-engine. Analyzing their features is the effective way to reflect the failure of aero-engine. Some digital image processing technologies are adopted synthetically to segment the wear debris images and It successfully separates wear debris from background. By analyzing and calculating the shape and texture characteristic parameters of wear debris. Double BP network recognition of wear debris is proposed.The creditability and validity of the method is examined by the experiment.Automatic recognition wear fault of aero-engine is realized primarily according to weal debris images.
