Abstract

This article discusses the issues of research the profile of parts of transport vehicles in cross-section. The paper presents the results of studies of the profile texture in cross-section and determines the contribution of random and systematic components to the resulting profile. During the research, the apparatus of the theory of random processes and fractal geometry was used. It is shown that with stricter requirements for the accuracy of the shape, the proportion of a random component of the profile increases, and, consequently, the influence of vibrations of the technological system on ensuring the required values of the accuracy of the shape also increases. The results obtained are the basis for further research in terms of developing solutions to ensure the required accuracy of the shape of parts in cross-section using vibration monitoring of the technological system.
