Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the directions of scientific research in Ukraine by sections of the UDC for 2022 based on the "Chronicle of journal articles" database. The index occupies a special place in the system of state bibliographic information, is published twice a month and contains analytical bibliographic information about articles, documentary materials, works of fiction, published in magazines, periodicals and continuing editions, bulletins printed in Ukraine. During the analysis, it was found that the largest number of publications in the "Annals of journal articles" database for 2022 is contained in class 6 Applied sciences. Medicine. Technology, and the smallest is in class 2 Religion. Theology (theology). A comprehensive analysis of publications makes it possible to determine the main areas of scientific research, the results of which are published in Ukrainian scientific periodicals, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Priority Areas of Science and Technology Development".
