Abstract
Gingival papilla, also called interdental papilla, is filled in gingival embrasures of contact zone of two adjacent teeth that is in the gingival side. In order to get aesthetic effect as the natural teeth, gingival papilla is of great importance. However, the implant denture will be influenced by a variety of local factors that a gingival papilla is flatted easily, and form a black triangle that will affect asthetic appearance, especially in the anterior region. In this article, recent researches on how to resolve the problem of black triangle in the implant denture are reviewed. Key words: Dental implantation; Gingival; Papilla; Bone remodeling
