Abstract

In this article, the authors solved the problem of optimization of high-speed electromechanical converters with high-coercivity permanent magnets. High-frequency electromechanical converters of energy (HFECE) with high-coercivity permanent magnets (HCPM) are the class of electromechanical converters which can be characterized with minimal specific mass (ratio of the mass of HFECE and it power), efficiency and reliability. These characteristics make the use of HFECE in electric power supply systems of autonomous objects, for example in aircrafts, space vehicles and seecrafts, very effective. In this article the mathematical model will be defined, whose solution allows obtaining optimum geometrical ratio for high-speed electromechanical converters with high-coercivity permanent magnets. All the calculations, made using such mathematic model, are verified by computer simulations and experiments.
