Abstract
The pressurizer water level and pressure control system in PWR nuclear power plant controls the primary pressure at the setting value, and maintains the coolant water in the appropriate value of load. It determines the plant security and stability, therefore the improvements and optimizations of its performance are the key to enhance the security and economic. The model of pressurizer water level and pressure control system is established by MATLAB/Simulink in this paper. For the large overshoot, response delay and poor stability exist in the traditional PID control system, an advanced model based on fuzzy-PID control algorithm is proposed. The simulation results illustrate that the improvements are significant for their faster response and better stability based on the actual operation parameters of PWR water level and pressure control system.
