Research of predictive PID algorithm Simulation in drawing roller temperature control

Abstract

In this paper, according to the research status of predictive control theory, the temperature control process is described with the pure first order lag model to avoid the time delay and the controller with predictive PID control algorithm is designed to set up a control system for studying predictive PID control algorithm. The controller is a predictive control combined with PID control algorithm, which has simple configuration, few adjustable parameters that are easy to adjust. The emulation result shows that the control performance of predictive PID control algorithm is better than that of PID, Smith Predictor and Internal Model Control.
