Abstract

In order to achieve effectiveness and high control performance of complex processes with large time delay, a predictive fuzzy control method based on grey model is proposed in this paper. By employing grey predictive model, a two-dimensional predictive fuzzy controller is constructed. Its input variables are predictive error and predictive error rate. Fuzzy decision making mechanism according to present state is introduced into the arithmetic to realize self-adaptive adjusting of predictive steps in grey predictive model to enhance the controller's performance. Thus the disadvantage that the conventional fuzzy control can't be fed back timely is overcome. Compared with conventional predictive control, its calculation is simple and it is easy to realize. The simulation for the temperature control of decomposing furnace using this method is carried out. The results show the proposed method is effective.
