Abstract

In the vehicular networking, the urgent alarm message warnings can be widely distributed by designing reliable multi-hop broadcast protocol. The warnings are important for improving the road traffic safety. The key to realize the reliable multi-hop broadcast is to dynamically select the optimal relay vehicles. In order to distribute warnings fast and reliably, the transmission reliability and real-time performance impacted by the transmit power control technique of the moving vehicle are studied in this paper. Also, a reliable broadcast protocol RMBP based on the delay perception is designed.
