Most nonprofit leaders and their board chairs agree that their boards have a positive impact on the organization's operations. But some factors—such as a board's understanding of its roles and responsibilities, and its knowledge of the organization's programming, can lead to especially impactful boards, according to the latest research from BoardSource.
