Abstract

The first annual volume of Research in Organization Change and Development was published by JAI Press in 1987. Since then, ROCD has provided a special platform for scholars and practitioners to share new research-based insights. The symposium was an integral part of the ODC division program in which division members had an opportunity to meet with the authors of the upcoming volumes. Volume Twenty One of Research in Organizational Change and Development continues the tradition of providing insightful and thought provoking chapters. The chapters in the volume represent a commitment to maintaining the high quality of work that many of you have come to expect from this publication. The interactive session in small groups provide unique opportunity to explore research findings and emerging research directions in the field. The give and take in the small group discussions led by chapter authors' advance our collective understanding of current issues facing the field.
