Abstract

As part of the drive to increase access to psychological therapies for people with depression, computer-based programmes for cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) have been developed. This research focus reviews two papers reporting on related studies investigating the role of online CBT in the treatment of depression in primary care: the first focuses on the efficacy of the therapy and the second considers the patient perspective.
