Abstract

Taking the mobile learning literature in the CNKI journal database as the research sample, this paper conducted in-depth research and analysis on the related literature by using research methods such as bibliometrics, social network analysis, and multi-dimensional scaling analysis. The results show that: (1) The research results increased significantly, mainly distributed in pedagogy, computer science, with obvious “centralization-decentralization” characteristics; (2) low degree of research cooperation and small scale of cooperation restrict the further research and development of mobile learning; (3) In the past two decades, mobile learning research in China has experienced three stages: initial stage, rapid development stage and comprehensive deepening stage; (4) At present, the three major themes of mobile learning research are mobile learning application mode research, mobile learning support environment research, mobile learning theory research. Flipped classroom, micro learning, mobile learning plafform, mobile teaching mode are the current research hotspot. In the future, the healthy development of mobile learning research requires not only strengthening communication and cooperation, but also focusing on the transformation of research paradigm, as well as strengthening the formulation of industry standards.
