Abstract

Case-based learning (CBL) is currently a better teaching method in the medical teaching, in which it is based on the students and can improve the students's interests. It is a detonating learning, so that the learners can develop into the self-directed lifelong learning. It is a transformation from teaching students' knowledge to teach students how to learn. After nearly 5 years of the research and practice, the basic teaching system was established as a model of CBL. It gets the positive results in improving the students' interest, seeking knowledge and fostering critical thinking, solving problem, collaboration and communication, using of modern information technology resources and solf-management abilities.
